Virgin Islands '78 '79 These Caribbean Islands are a great place for "bare boat" sailing. There are several companies that charter sail boats for a week at a time. If you are not an experienced sailor, you can also arrange for a captain to accompany you. Then spent a week of great adventure doing what ever you want. We would begin the day with cereal (yes, you have to cook also). We would prepare one meal on the boat, either lunch or dinner, then eat the other on an island. We stopped to explore beaches and coral reefs. Then hoist anchor and sail to another site. This was a great family adventure we shared with my wife's brother Richard. | ||
