Zoos: They are excellent places to enjoy for a few hours at any age. My wife first went to the St. Louis Zoo in 1949 as a child. Between 1957-62 we would visit on a weekend while attending college in St. Louis. It was free then. Marlin Perkins was director and made some of the first films for TV of capturing wild animals. The St. Louis Zoo is located in Forest Park, the site of the 1904 World's Fair. | ||

| We have returned to visit family in St. Louis during Thanksgiving many times since then. Some times we would visit the zoo as a family. This year the grandchildren spent an hour there. It is an excellent time to walk off some of the fine food and be together. | |||

| We have enjoyed zoos in Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Australia and Galapagos. | |||
