Zachary selelcted the Active Adventure trip for the last of our grandson's trips. This was the fourth tour planned for us by Wildland Adventures. The trip began in the heart of the jungle at Black Rock Lodge. From here we canoed a river, visited a Mayan ruin, hiked in a jungle, rappeled into a sinkhole and explored a wet cave.
We continued our adventures with the transfer to Glover's Reef. Here Zachary experienced SCUBA and snorkeling on the reef. The return to Belize City was an adventure as Hurrican Alex blew across the Caribbean Sea causing the trip to be extended one day.
