Drake Bay

Corcovado National Park and Cano Island

Rainforest

Drake Bay is reached by small plane and a boat transfer.
You might see a whale during the flight.
CaƱo Island offers a chance for snorkeling,
diving and exploring. We saw sharks, fish,
and crab up close. Some felt the sting of
microscopic jelly fish. A day at the beach.
Corcovado National Park is a rain forest
We hiked through the mangrove swamp
and montane forest looking for birds and
amphibians.
We wait for the boat to take us back
to La Paloma Lodge. There is time
to relax in our room before dinner.
These fine accommodations were a great end to our trip. Nichole made special effort for our return as the edge of the hurricane brought
more rain.
